Wine Museum

Set in a lovely building which was used as a wine cellar at the end of the XIX Century, we are met by the unexpected sight of a wine cellar that was excavated by hand more than three hundred years ago, with vaults, walls and brickwork archways built in the traditional Castilian style, perfect for preserving wine. A museum tour in the passages shows the different stages of wine making, from agricultural equipment used in cultivation and harvest, to the tools used in the process of winemaking and storing. Both the building and the subterranean galleries below were restored by the V Centenary Workshop School.

There is also a projection room where a documentary shows us the connections between Navalcarnero and wine, as well as various information panels which tell us more about the history of Navalcarnero.

" The Wine Museum pays homage to the work and imagination of the vintners."
